Join us for a cooking demonstration and wine dinner inspired by food and wine from Sonoma, the home of world-class wine! What exactly is on this carefully crafted menu, you ask?
On the Menu
Sip on a cranberry vodka smash to kick off this specially planned evening. Made with Tito’s Vodka, cranberry sauce, rosemary simple syrup, club soda, and sprite, it’s the perfect level of refreshing while serving as the perfect introduction for the first dish, farmstead pork and shrimp shumai. Served with Texas shiitake and Thai basil broth, this dish will be paired with the warm and rich 2015 Landmark Vineyards “Overlook” Chardonnay.
The parsnip bisque Chef Chamberlain will demonstrate serves as the perfect ode to what we know and love, fresh seafood. Made with seared sea scallops and hen of the woods mushrooms, the parsnip bisque is complemented by the “Riviera” Pinot Noir from Pali Wine Co. Following the parsnip bisque is a decadent, cabernet braised 44 farms short rib, made with winter root vegetable puree, lemon zest, and horseradish. We’ve paired the short tib with th 2015 Hook & Ladder “Los Amigos Ranch” Chalk Hill Cabernet Sauvignon. The dinner and cooking demonstration will be wrapped up with one of our favorite apple desserts, an apple tarte tatin. Served with a hot apple cider toddy, this show stopper of a dessert pairs quite perfectly with a blend of hot apple cider, brandy, and lemon juice.
